An eight year old murder case has been solved in Norwood.
On Thursday, police arrested Arthur Barnett after he confessed to killing Colin McClain, 40, in May of 1998.
Police say Barnett recently began confessing the murder to people, who then told police.
When officers brought Barnett in for questioning, he broke down and confessed to the crime within minutes, Channel 9's Shannon Kettler reported.
Barnett told investigators that he and McClain had spent the day drinking together before they got into an argument which led to the stabbing at McClain's home along Kenilworth Avenue.
Barnett has been charged with murder and will be arraigned on Friday.
